Rocker Boxes was born out of a simple but powerful lesson—learning how to grow our own food. Under the guidance of Farmer Roy, my husband and I were introduced to the beauty and purpose of planting, harvesting, and truly understanding where our food comes from. During the pandemic, when the world slowed down and people were spending more time at home, we saw an opportunity to share that knowledge. We created Rocker Boxes to show just how easy and accessible it can be to grow your own food right from a container—no big garden required.

Now, six years later, what started as a small idea has grown into something much bigger. We’ve planted a thriving fruit forest and cultivated thousands of watermelons, vegetables, and more—using what we grow to feed our friends, family, and community. Rocker Boxes is more than just planter boxes—it’s about empowering people to reconnect with their food, their space, and the joy of growing something of their own.
